Kids (6-month to Elementary)

Nursery | Preschool | Elementary

Nursery

Our nursery is for children ages 6 months to 2.5 years old. During the 90-minute Sunday morning service, volunteers follow a loose schedule of reading a bible story to the kids, praying for them, providing snack, playing games, and listening to music. The kids also have free time to play! Our nursery ratio is 3 kids to 1 adult. **For families with children under 6 months old, we have two spaces for you to feed, nurse, change, or comfort. One is upstairs to the right before entering the main sanctuary. The other is downstairs; the first room to the left after the family ministry check-in desk.**

Preschool

Preschool students are between the ages of 2.5 years old up to Kindergarten. Preschoolers start out with a 30-minute high energy large group time that includes a video of a bible story, activities related to the bible story, learning about a missionary that The Well supports, and taking offering toward our Compassion International child, Felix. After that, the children have snack, music, craft, coloring pages, and memorizing a scripture verse. The preschool schedule is broken into 5-10 minute segments to hold kids’ attention.

Elementary

Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade (generally ages 5-10), spend the first 20-30 minutes of the worship gathering in the main sanctuary with their families. During this time, students will hear songs of worship and stories of God’s movement told by people attending the gathering. When students are dismissed by the pastor, they will come downstairs for the remainder of the time. This time includes a bible story video, questions about the story, activities to process the story, a new scripture memory verse each week, interactive stories about missionaries connected to The Well, and an offering toward our Compassion International child, Felix.
